While President Bush lectures congressional Democrats about not getting the people’s business done, it’s Senate Republicans who have now broken the record for legislative paralysis. Republicans have forced more cloture votes to break filibusters in the first 11 months of this Congress than there were for the entire 109th Congress, when the Republican majority was labeling Democrats as “obstructionists.”
